Challenge
The design process was heavily influenced by a client-driven vision rather than data-backed user behavior, which made it difficult to establish a unique and consistent identity. Frequent reference to competitor features led to unclear feature priorities and scope creep. Meanwhile, the AI layer needed to appeal to beginners without alienating experienced traders, demanding a careful balance of simplicity, depth, and transparency in both design and interaction.
Objective
Design a user-friendly trading platform with real-time analytics and AI-led assistance to reduce the complexity of market participation. The goal was to empower users with actionable insights, intuitive navigation, and contextual education. The platform needed to demystify trading while offering enough depth for power users, all without overwhelming the interface or diminishing user autonomy.
Results
The resulting product delivered a clear, modern interface with layered AI guidance for both new and experienced traders. Key features included contextual trading signals, responsive charting, and simplified workflows across web and mobile platforms. AI-led onboarding and tutorials significantly improved first-session engagement and reduced friction. The platform was built with a scalable architecture, allowing for future integration of advanced tools. Usability tests showed higher confidence levels and reduced hesitation among new users, validating the effectiveness of an AI-first, user-centered design approach.
