Challenge

The POS system had poor usability, slow performance, and confusing navigation. A full rebuild wasn’t feasible, so improvements had to work within the existing architecture. Technical constraints and user reliance on legacy workflows made innovation difficult.

Objective

Modernize the POS interface without changing its core structure. Goals included simplifying navigation, reducing task time, and improving visual clarity. The team focused on high-impact, incremental updates based on user feedback, ensuring smooth adoption and long-term scalability.

Results

The updated POS system improved task efficiency, reduced training time, and boosted staff satisfaction. Navigation became more intuitive, visuals more consistent, and support issues decreased with built-in troubleshooting aids. These upgrades enhanced store operations without disrupting existing systems.
